Originally designed to be worn pre and post spray tan, the original garment was made in Australia under the label kafTAN by bbe boutique. While the fabric was sourced locally, I found it difficult to find out the conditions for the staff where the material had been made. I became obsessed with wanting to know more.

From here I found a wonderful sustainable fabric supplier, often using the end of roll runs from big houses, many of which would’ve otherwise ended up as landfill.

After watching the documentary the True Cost, I became even more determined to stay true to sustainable manufacturing.
